Archiving and Preservation Policy

The Journal of Culture and Tourism (JCT) is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation and accessibility of all published articles. The journal implements a digital archiving system to guarantee that scholarly content remains permanently available to the academic community.

To ensure the preservation of its digital content, the journal utilizes reliable archiving and preservation mechanisms, including:

  • LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe), which enables distributed preservation among participating libraries.

  • CLOCKSS (Controlled Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) for secure and permanent archiving.

  • Institutional repositories and digital libraries to maintain long-term access to journal content.

Through these systems, the journal ensures that its published materials remain accessible even in the event that the journal ceases publication.

The journal also maintains regular backups of its digital content within the journal management system to prevent data loss and ensure the integrity and availability of all published articles.

This archiving policy supports the journal’s commitment to the long-term preservation, accessibility, and dissemination of scholarly research in culture and tourism studies.
